Proper Installation

For proper operation, it is necessary to install the huministat on the wall at a height of approx. 1.5 m. The installation point should be free of direct sun light, drafts and direct heat from electrical equipment and radiators. The subsurface should not consist of material which bonds moisture such as plaster board, if possible, because otherwise the control characteristics of the huministat could be influenced. Tile and other subsurfaces which are neutral in regard to moisture are ideal for installation.
